as the title says .. i configure Mikrotik router board to block a list of sites .. it’s working like a charm on user’s PC .. but not on mobile browser (especial Opera mini) it’s still able to bypass the web proxy access list and DNS static list too
i start torch and found that Mobile IP using random ports to access to this IP 185.26.181.253 instead of target IP (and again it’s redirect to “http://demo.opera-mini.net/public/”)
now i want to know whats going on ? .. is that related to Socket/HTTP protocol ? (BTW i disabled it from browsers settings but the same !!! )
what is the way to let this things works like what should it be ?!
Opera has a proxy server running on their own servers and the mobile clients connect to that proxy server
automatically and send the requests there.
So, not via the traditional DNS and http(s) connection directly from the client.
Thx for replay .. after i read it, i tried to do what i did again but now with Chrome browser on my mobile, it is use the same way too as opera .. random port open an Dst IP (216.58.208.108) with port 443 .. and it is related to Google .. on computer browser it gave

is Chrome uses it is own proxy too ?

They do this to better serve their customers, by compressing data and reducing image resolutions etc.
Of course you can block the addresses of those proxies, but it will probably mean you get complaints…
(I’m not sure, it could be that the mobile browsers auto switch back to direct connection when the proxy is unreachable)
However, please note that people who want to “block certain sites” always have lots of problems and it is
becoming more and more all the time. https, proxies, VPN, TOR, whatever. They will always be going
around you.
