Monitoring Device thru SMS Alerts

Hallo Everyone,

I am still new to Mikrotik and there is a question that I have. We have 5 offices and I need to see when the power at my office is of, the Microtik can send you SMS Alerts on the network. I want to know can you monitor a device to see when the power is off? I see you can monitor a UPS thru the Mikrotik, is this any UPS or just some UPS’s. If you know the Pin outs of your UPS can you connect it to your Mikrotik.

Then I can set up a sms Alert if the battery of the UPS is on line.

Did some one do this before with a Microtik router board ???
