Hi All,

I am looking for the maximum distace that can be achieved with 30db limit (28db antenna + a couple of dbs for the SR5). I am trying to figure out what can be the maximum distance for a rural link with LOS and with the two towers on the hills. Obviously on the 5Ghz frequencies.

Any experience?

unfortunately I see many great reports but I have a limit of 30db (national regulation)…

Here in the US we are limited to 30dbm on 5.2-5.3ghz.

Do you really want to find out the maximum distance or you just want to find out if this will work for the distance in your case? If so, please let us know what is the distance? I have 36km link with two SR5 and two 29dBi grid antennas. It is working just fine.
