I currently have my backbone setup with OSPF and it works great. Now I need to add another border router into the network that is connected to another provider. Of course the new provider is giving us new IPs. I can subnet the new IPs and place them on the mountain top/backbone routers. This will allow the customers to switch over to the new IPs at their leisure. But how do I make the new IPs go out the new provider only and the old IPs go out the old provider only?
Policy routing. If its based on subnets you can use the rules tab under ip routes.
