MPLS/VPLS - No trraffic

Hello.

I have this weird issue…

I have successfully established VPLS from point A to point B. On side A there is PPPoE server on vpls interface.. On side B vpls interface is placed in a bridge. Typical setup.

Problem is there is no traffic through the VPLS..

  1. No pppoe server when scanning both on bridge and/or standalone vpls interface on point B
  2. vpls interface of side A is not showing in the neighbors list on side B (not even MDP traffic passing through)

Anyone had this issue before.. Cant be the version.. 7.10.2 is working with the same setup on another segment of the network. MTUs OSPF MPLS..all working just fine.. tested and re-tested multiple times.

Any ideas?

Issue solved.

May this be helpful for others.

2 routers backwards… on the primary path, the OSPF was working properly, routing traffic etc, but the corresponding interface was not included (by typo) in the MPLS interfaces.

Everything working fine now.
