Hi,
my ADSL provider offer the connectivity ppp multilink.
They provide a 8 Mbit down and 2 Mbit upload with 4 adsl lines and a router capable of this operation.
After 4 months sometime the router, that use a intel 266 processor, goes down and it needs a power cycle to restore.
I want to substituite it with a Mikrotik router, but after few trials I understand that Router Os does not support this feature.
Router Os team could you confirm?
My trials have been conducted on a pc with 3 LAN cards.
1 lan card as internal network and the other two card are connected to the two modems (preconfigured as bridge).
The routeros correct connect the PPOE connection with the provider on both line, but since each line has the same ip address I cannot differentiate the route on the static table.
The provider support told me that they use MultiLink Point to Point Protocol (MultiPPP).
Take in considearation that I use with success Router OS on wireless, firewall and route manager on my activities from 3 years.
