Hello everybody.
I do not have much knowledge about networks (I’m a mobile developer) and recently (last month) I bought a router (Mikrotik hAP ax2), but I’m having difficulties to configure it.
My idea for organizing my network is:
-
Blue Zone (example DHCP range 192.168.10.1 - 50):
→ eth[2..5] + 5GHz wifi for personal use with access to the Raspberry Pi (which contains servers) and a NAS
→ The consoles (ps and xbox) on this network (NAT available)
→ SSH/VPN access
→ eth1 is WAN port (port to connect to ISP router) -
Red Zone (example DHCP range 192.168.20.1 - 50):
→ only wifi, separated from the blue zone (no access to servers), only access the internet. This network is for guests.
In both zones, they only access the PiHole/Adguard DNS, firewall is activated. I’ve lost count of the time I reset the router’s settings trying to configure the network. I followed (that is, read and tried to understand) the example available at (http://forum.mikrotik.com/t/using-routeros-to-vlan-your-network/126489/1 → post RouterSwitchAP), but still without success.
Can anyone guide me in configuring the equipment?
Thanks in advance.
Mike
