hi there i am from India. i have just recently availed the services of local isp in the name of spidigo.
this is the first time i have been using a wireless connection. the problem is that the guys over at the technical department are not very bright and dont know how to properly calibrate the settings for good tx/rx ccq. the signal strength is -60dbi and tx/rx ccq is jumping up and down between 10-60% distance between the transmitter and the reciever is about 2Km or 1.25mi. i am attaching all the settings and setup that those guys have done. please help me set it up properly as the experience is very very inconsistent. sometimes i get the 4mbps sometimes i dont even get 1mbps of speed.
Make spectral scan on both sides and select the best frequency first. Then push steadily some data through and check the ccq and speed changes. Then think again I if not acceptable. Also check the fresnel zone.
60dbm is enough for 10 mbps connection.
Ithink speed issue is from ISP Side
