How come Citrix web app will not work with Router OS 3.30 but it will work with 2.43? I do need ipsec VPN capabilities but there are no VPN IP Sec for 2.43 once I download to it.
Any guru advice will help.
Thanks

Could the Citrix problem be on Citrix’s firewall side with a poor SSH or older version? Why would Citrix stop connecting drop connections when it is going through a Mikrotik on version 3.30 last good ROS.
The setup is like this:
computer connecting to citrix–>MT–>dsl router–>Interwebs -->some where in like India–>Firewall of some sort–>Citrix server

Would x86 2.51 work best for this scenario if so where do I find a x86 download.

The problem was resolved by downgrading to 2.51. I think that the Citrix connections were using an older protocol that had a flaw that was not compatible with the newer 3.30. Any ways downgraded to the last stable version of the 2.x series which is the 2.51 and all started to work once more. For some reason even 3.0 or anything in the 3.x series did not work well with the Citrix protocol. Very odd. Again I do not think this was a MT fault but a business connection that was either not patched or not running the latest version of Citrix.

We just experienced a similar problem but with 4.9
Last week we switched out a client’s RB532 w/2.9.51 to a RB750 w/4.9. The configuration on the router is pretty basic..DHCP client on ether1, a masquerade rule, no firewall rules enabled while troubleshooting and a dhcp server on ether2 with ether3,4,5 being slaves to ether2.
The client would start their Citrix client and it would start to log-in and the freeze up. This happened with multiple PCs. We switched them back to the original 532 and it started working again.
I am not experienced enough with Citrix to say it’s on that end or not. But it seems strange that switching the router back made it work.
citrix uses lots of small packets, do you have any limit rules enabled??

Just the queue that is created when the router gets a lease. But that is also there when they connect using the working RB532 w/2.9.51
