Do they even see the AP? Check that you have the same country/channel/band selection on both the AP and netbooks.
They See but they do not connect.
windows says “trying to establish connection to…” waits waits and does not get ip
The AP is osbridge and configured in channel 1
2412 frequency.
The AP is osbridge and configured in channel 1
Is that mode=ap-bridge?
Or is that mode=bridge?
Do you have B/G/N enabled ?
Do you have WPA and WPA2 ?
Nick.
I have attached a picture.
U can see the wifi settings there…
Thanks for ur interest

any suggestions?
It may be because of country settings…I think..but I had some arabian customer with the same problem.
I do not recognize that “General settings” page. Is that a new look for Winbox?
Have you checked the log in the router? What does it say about the connection attempts? If it is not showing you enough, enable debug logging on the wireless.
/system logging
add topics=wireless,debug action=memory
What radio and antenna are you using there? One of my new customers has this problem. The company that sold him the equipment did the guy no favors. They sold him a 1000mw radio with an 8db antenna. You can pick up the ap halfway to Cuba, but the ap doesn’t hear the client radios. Same symptoms. Good signal on the client end, but can’t connect.
He would have been much better off with a 350mw radio and a 12db antenna.
No - unless I am very much mistaken that is an OSBRiDGE screen rather than anything from RouterOS.
The picture is NETBRIDGE…
Built in Osbridge.The same hardware.
Even OSRESET utility can find and reset APs
what does OSBRIDGE issue have to do with on a Mikrotik Forum??
are the OSBRIDGE people using the Mikrotik platform??
