Netflix not working (unblocker or proxy)

I have a problem

I use a RB951G-2HnD as router.

Use it now for 3 years and it was working great.

But last week my router was hacked (for cryptomining).

I saw VPN services and proxy settings on the router.

Netfilx was not working anymore on the network.

I get a warning I use a unblocker or a proxy.



What have I done.

I update the router to the latest firmware version (was not done yet).

Then I reset the router to defaults with no configuration.

Configured the router as it has to be (No VPN and no proxy settings).



But still can’t use NETFLIX. Still get the warning that I use a unblocker or proxy.



What can I do to solve this?

the best way is to use Netinstall and reconfigure your router.Be sure don’t use same password as before hacking.

you have not mentioned but I assumed that you have changed password and closed winbox port or at least limit access to it.

are you on a public IP? if yes, contact Netflix and get them to remove you from their blacklist.

The Primary IP is not the issue.
If you read the topic you can see that if I connect a device direct to the modem all is working (with the same Public IP.
Replaced the mikrotik with a new one (same model, same config) Netfilx works fine.

The router was hacked and the the device was changed, even a factory reset was not enough.
Need to netinstall the device.
Have the check if that works but did not do that yet.

The device was hacked and the hacker has changed the device.
also after a reset the issue was still there.
After a netinstall the problem was solved.
Then the device was clean.
A reset configuration was not enough.

IP address is also a problem that makes Netflix not work, as I understand that Netflix has restricted service to some countries.
