Network Switch

Good Day All,

Is there a solution for a Mikrotik RouterOS powered network switch with say 12 gigabit network ports, but, also with a gbit fiber connector?

We are looking to replace super old networking switches, mostly we have Nortal Baystack 450s, 24 ports, a couple of them are stacked for 48 ports, but for each building on our campus we have a fiber connection, which would need to be supported by the RouterOS switch to get a connection to the network.

Does anybody have any information for something like this? Maybe there is a solution to convert the fiber with a device that gives a female RJ45 connector which then a routerboard could simply plugin to?

Our campus has over 900 apartments which all have internet connection from us, our network switches are super old and people are complaining about intermittent connections, or slow connections, and we are looking in to replace the whole farm of switches out on our residential side, but are unsure as to what we’d need to purchase for this.

Can anybody help me with this, please?

Thanks!
