Hi there, I am planning to buy a mikrotik. Confused which device should i buy . During the search i really liked Mikrotik Hex pro . Though it is not released in the market right now . Price is also a concern .Ive some questions
If u have any knowledge regarding this issue ,sharing will be so helpful . 
To do what, exactly? Hard to make recommemdations without a use case . . .

Mikrotik doesn't make it a habit to provide release dates.
Usually answers are like "soon" or " it's coming".
In the fullness of time, at an appropriate juncture.
Reasonable, all things considered.
I would by any second hand cheap device in advance to practice with it and then the target model.
Considering its better specs (apart of the port numbers) compared to the RB5009, I'd be surprised if it would be priced below.
I also hope they manage to keep power consumption low.
It would be very nice if they released this sooner rather than later. This update is very appreciated. Though 3GB of RAM is somewhat interesting choice, 4GB would be more reasonable amount in 2026, especially for containers, to run things like pihole and similar for SOHOs. But they probably want to keep higher gap to their higher-end routers, but I don't know if that's going to mean something.. hEX Pro is not really competing with them.
