haven’t tested beta 3 performence yet (been a little busy, we just finalized the purchase of another WISP a few days ago, we’ll be doubleing our current size and coverage area with the new addition, plus we just put our first SR9 900Mhz cell up a week and a half ago which is doing pretty well, nearly a dozen customers on it already)

if you have a spare PC, and some free time - please install beta 3 with a demo license, and test the basic features. report to us if you find some problems. we still have not received any important bugreports.
I have seen only one from B3.
I installed it on a SuperMicro Dual P4 Xeon 2.4 Hyper Threader.
I had both CPUs installed, 1GB ram, Hyperthreading active.
Here was the issue:
The router only recognised 3 CPUs.. I can not say if the system posted as 4 CPUs or not, but when the system was rebooted, it recognised all 4 “Cores”..
I have had no other issues with B3..

Installed B3 on an RB112 for testing. Wireless performance was much improved over 2.9.30.
The only issue was the terminal window (in color) was very sluggish while typing and printing.
in where, in ssh, over console? what program did you use?
i tried with dirrect monitor, for x86... !!!
i think with spelling command.... it's nice .. cool

I had some of the same console issues from the router’s console as well as from the “new terminal” interface within winbox.

i changed our test station to v3beta3 alls working fine but i see the cpu load stays on 100% all the time its a rb500
done bandwidth test everything great only cpu load at 100%
???
disable the “dude” package…

On a SuperMicro board, I dont have the number at hand, I ave 2x hyper threader CPUs (xeon 2.8) Most of the time they are seen as 2 cups each, sometimes on a cond boot they show as three…
On a Proliant DL140 a single hyper threader (with firmware setiiing set to on… ) allways shows 1 CPU…
