How can I access mikrotik on the internet
I am using winbox for my management in my LAN
how my I know my Mikrotik IP address and
Mac Address.
And by the way What is Karma?

How can I access mikrotik on the internet
1.Click on IP, then Firewall, then Filter Rules.
2.Click the add a new rule.
3.Change Chain to input.
4.Change Protocol to tcp.
5.Change Dst. Port to 8291.
6.Click on the Action tab and make sure Action is set to accept.
7.Click Comment and name it something like “winbox”.
8.Click OK.
This settings must stand bellow your other firewall rules.
how my I know my Mikrotik IP address and
Mac Address.
Look to IP, addresses to know what IP-address you had.
Your extern IP-address can you see with this http://www.whatip.com/

I already done this but what is the next step if I used internet to to access this router
I will used my winbox also?how to to it on winbox? im sorry im just new to this router
they set up 4 WAN to this router Im just a administrator to this router but I need to learn
more with this because when im going to a vacation I still need some access to this router

If you have forward the winbox port 8291on your ISP router
Can you connect with winbox on your extern IP-adres that you have with http://www.whatip.com/
I try to connect winbox with my isp address
“could not fetch index from xxx:xxx:xxx:xxx:80”
this is the message.

ive put comment to the winbox identity.
You have a router ore modem from your ISP?
You must there forward the winbox port 8292 to the IP that your routerboard has.

This must you do with dstnat but i have that never done.
