Yes , with the legacy Wireless package , there was much more manual control, for the low level operation.
With the Wifi package, quite some of these parameter settings are supposed to be automatic. There are new ones to try to master.
So indoor/outdoor (or even all) for installation in Wireless package is available as parameter, not found so far in the Wifi package.
(In wireless, for outdoor only devices , only outdoor can be choosen as installation, to prevent the use of some outdoor-forbidden frequencies, which are country/region dependent..)
