OSPF Hello Issue

Hi all,

I’m having an issue in my network where OSPF Hello packets are going in one direction, but not able to go in the other for some reason. These are all running over VPLS tunnels and all other traffic goes across the tunnels without an issue. OSPF on the downstream link from the VPLS tunnel interfaces is setup as default broadcast interface configuration.

Attached is a screenshot of the wireshark captures I did that prove this.

Where can I look at this? How can I see the traffic further upstream from this link (as it’s encapsulated in VPLS)?

Any help would be extremely appreciated.

For all those out there that may see this. The problem turned out to be an issue with one of the routers in the path. The upgrade to v6.30 appears to have fixed the problem.
