Pay Pal works but account doesn't activate

I have pay pal working it takes the money and everything but the account created in user manager doesn’t appear to activate. When you try and log on with the account I get invalid username or password. When I look at the account in the user manager it has the correct user name and password but prepaid time shows unlimited used time is 0 and left is 0. What I am I doing wrong? For some reason it isn’t puting the correct prepaid time in the user.

First time setting up a hotpsot for use with paypal, have been at it for a few days now and I have been encountering this exact problem also. Account is created with no credits, username/password verified, paypal transaction works too. As the user tries to logon, “Invalid username or password” error occurs everytime.

No sure what to make if it, the paypal response back to the usermanager appears to go through over https and the user is returned to the logon page.

Anyone have any ideas what I am missing?
