I have a router os installed on pc with intel 1gh processor. I have connected three ubnt bullet m2 modules and configured them in bridge mode. The ethernet interface of those are connected to the lancard of the router pc. I am facing following problems.
configuration
sector 1 ip 192.168.1.101
sector 2 ip 192…202
sector 3 ip 192…203
gateway ip address is 192.168.1.80 which is on the router pc.
problem 1 i am unable to ping the client itself from the client ethernet intefrace connected to the sectors. I thought this is due to the connection is in bridge mode. ping takes a lot of time start getting replies. sometimes it takes minutes to start. and sometimes it wont ever give reply back even the client is connected to the lan card.
problem 2 high latency
problem 3 unable to open client web inteface for a long time.
how can i setup a routing table in the router os so it wont get any delays in the network. i tried adding a mangle rule to accept all the packects on the subnet 192.168.1.0.
problem 4. unable to handle more than 10 clients on a single sector.
Please give me guide lines on hardware to use. Is it better to use router mode in the bulletm2 than bridge mode for access points and at the clients.
