Maybe someone can help me with the following.
RB600 - 4.6 running and i got two ip adresses on board. X.X.X.251/24 and y.y.y.1/24 …y.y.y.2/24 is on another RB and is connected to each other. Masquarading is on. Traffic of about 50 pppoe clients go through this link (from y.y.y.2/24 to y.y.y.1/24) and no complaints from clients of not being able to connect to internet… So link is working. I have RIP and OSPF also running and everything looks fine.
My problem is that on RB600 i can not ping y.y.y.1 and i cant seem to be able to rectify it as on a RB you must be able to ping the local adresses.
Could someone please be so kind as to help me ???
