Pls how can use WDS and Nstreme on my point-to-point link?
I have RB600A as the AP and RB433AH as the client with R52H in each one of them
http://www.mikrotik.com/testdocs/ros/3.0/interface/wireless.php
Follow the manual.
Don’t forget to apply a bridge on each end. Most of us use dynamic WDS. It is easier than static.
I have found “best fit” with “3200” to work best on nstream.
Keep the RouterOS version for both boards at 3.30. nstream is not yet working well with RouterOS 4.x.

Thanks Tom, I have this horrible experience on RouterOS 3.10
I use dynamic in my wds. I noticed that when the link is down usually due to power supply,
when power is back, the radio will not be connected until I restart the radio.
Pls what do you suggest I do
Upgrade to ROS 3.30 at both ends. Upgrade the firmware after upgrading ROS.
from the CLI ‘sy ro u’
Make sure your power supplies are sized correctly for the boards and radio cards.

Hi Tom,
I’m using WDS for a low throughput network so techs can roll up to any radio and connect to the network whereas if I had some radios on the PtP links as stations the techs couldn’t connect there.
I am using dynamic-mesh WDS mode as this was the only one I could get to work with WPA. Are you using WPA? Are you using dynamic-mesh?
Thanks
C.
