Plenty SFP - CLOUD ROUTER SWICTH COMING SOON???

I was just wondering if any1 know if there is a “Plenty SFP port” CRS in the making?

I could really need a CRS with f.ex. 2-4 ports of normal Gig ethernet, and then the rest SFP/SFP+ ports.

As an example like a “reverse” CRS226-24G-2S+RM With like 20 SFP/SFP+ ports and 2-4 ethernet gigs(CRS226-24S-2G+RM)?!

Or simply an all SFP switch(And then we would have to use Ethernet SFPs if needed).

I guess I could use the CCR1016-12S-1S+, but would be cool to have a purpose built SWITCH for for this! :slight_smile:

Any chance that we will see a product similar to this anytime soon Mikrotik?

I knew I had seen something like this in a newsletter somewhere! Just couldnt find it, or remember the name! and on the cloudrouter page it isnt listed! :wink:

But would still be nice with a proper rackmountable “big” switch with more ports(24±) for Datacentre and central node purposes! :slight_smile:

But for the time beeing I can probably manage with the CRS 212-1G-10S-1S+IN for a while! :slight_smile:

Would have been annoying to replace my current limpering SFP switches with a new limpering CRS!!! :laughing:
I hope Mikrotik soon fixes/revises this problem, thus returning to my initial suggestion at top of thread! :wink:

Guess I will have to look for other solutions in the meanwhile… I really hoped I could change it to Mikrotik this time around! :frowning:
