Point to point link

Hi everyone,

I am trying to configure point to point link between two wireless access nodes. On both ends there are directional antennas.

AP1(192.168.57.2/30) <-------------------- > AP2(192.168.57.1/30)

Wireless interface on AP2 is set to bridge mode with SSID named "p2p. Wireless interface on AP1 is set to station mode.
Using winbox i log onto AP1, select desired point to point interface, and then option SCAN to see the list of available networks. After that i choose “p2p” SSID and then i click connect, but nothing happens. I can’t ping AP2 from AP1.

What i am doing wrong. Any ideas ?

P.S. Signal strength when looking at “p2p” SSID is -81.

I don’t need to scan or connect. If the radios are set correctly, they will connect on their own.
Please post “/interface wireless” from both routers.

ADD: Insure the SSID is set to “p2p” on the station router.

I solved the problem. On AP2 i named two interfaces almost identically, so i assigned 57.2/30 address to the wrong interface. I want to slap myself now.
