i have ccr1016 and 700 ppp client
my router after 1 days up time crash and ppp users can not connected with pppoe connection
my router version is 6.2
upgrade 6.2 to 6.3 ----> no change
upgrade 6.3 to 6.7 ----> no change
downgrade 6.7 to 6.0 ----> no change
help me please

i have 1500 pppoe online user and when my online user is about 1300 the same problem happend
and other user cant connect
what am i do ?

Make reset to default and configure it again. Make reset to 6.7 version.

if i upgrade to 6.8rc1 and configration again better or 6.7 ???
6.8rc1 used multi core processor for ppp and have high
speed for users but conflict by my acconting server .
after 10 min uptime all users logout from accounting and stay connect
in router …
Make reset on 6.7 and configure again. Then wait for stable 6.8 and make regular update.

netistall 6.7 ??? or reset to factory configuration ???
just reset to factory settings and then when it ask you, remove all that default configuration.
Make new config without using copy command.

I intend to buy a CCR 1016 router in order to manage over 500 PPP clients with bandwidths between 2 and 10 Mb/s.
As I have seen here,this type of router is full of bugs and it can be a problem.
What do you recomend? It can handle this job or not? The last OS versions resolve this problems?

Now I am using a HP ProLiant server with CentOS linux to do this job. It have over 2 years of non stop working without any problems.
I want to change it be couse it has 450 W instant power consumption… But I don’t want a piece of equipements with bugs…
So, what do you recommend?
