PPTP Question!

Hello,

I’m a new on forum, and i want to ask;

LAN interface: 10.134.171.0/24 is my subnet on my local area.. PPTP server is running with same IP’s of the subnet, and PPTP server is started because of using internet connection by wireless network.

IP pool on VPN are 10.134.171.200-220.

My internet connection is handling by an ISP router and it’s on 10.134.171.2, and a static 0.0.0.0/0 router leads to that IP so a VPN user can use a internet connection.

This solution works when VPN user with Windows machine connects directly - internet connection works perfectly.

But problem is when I add vpn site to site (mikrotik to mikrotik), then i can’t ping router and internet connection is not working.. :frowning:
Why i want site-to-site? Because I want to connect user’s mikrotik to my vpn and vpn static route routes to internet connection to whole user’s network..


Whole situation is on a wireless network with multiple subnets (10.134.0.0/16).

Help needed..

Do you have PPTP ports open and redirected to the boards? Is 1723 port.

It’s in a wireless network. Not on WAN, so the port’s doesn’t need to be forwarded.
PPTP does connect, it add’s automatically route to 0.0.0.0/0 to that VPN, but i can’t ping my internet router in VPN subnet.

Problem is that it’s in a bigger network and user cannot put default gateway directly to my internet router, so it has to go with VPN (PPTP).
