Hi there, I just put Realtek RTL 8139 family pci fast ethernet on my pc router but Mikrotik wont accept it, it simply doesn`t show the adapter… what can be the reason ???
check if you see it in the ‘system resource pci’. make sure that you have plugged the card in the PCI slot fully.
You can make the support output file and send it to support@mikrotik.com.
I looked at system>resource>pci>print but it dont shows the card, hmmm in the manual i saw that this kind of ethernet card would be acceptable, but however by it isnt the same… 
If it’s really a RealTek 8139 family Ethernet card, is plugged in firmly into the PCI slot an doesn’t show up under system resources pci, I’d suspect a dead/broken card. Try anotherone to check this.

I think it cant` be broken or something like that, cuz it works fine under my Xp OS.
simply try another one. also see if you can disable some unused devices in your bios. like onboard audio, paralel port, etc. maybe there is a resource conflict
