I’m the new IT guy in a relative’s office, recently, there was a energy shutdown that affected the MikroTik router. Since that day I can’t access TrueNAS from the other locations.
We have 5 locations, and at this moment, the only one that can access TrueNAS, and use the IP Phone calls is the main one, where we run Truenas and the Trunk.
You are going to have to do a lot more troubleshooting first. You gave us nothing to go on at all.
You say “other locations” can’t access it. So, that symptom points to an issue with whatever tunnel you are using. What kind of tunnel are you using? IPSEC? Wireguard? OVPN?
You need to look at the status of those tunnels and see if they are running. It could be that with the power outage, your ISP IP address changed? Do you have a static IP from the ISP? If not, that would explain it.
Or it could be a number of other things. If it isn’t the IP address then get into the routers and start looking at the tunnel first and see if it is running.
