Hi All,
I have been battling with this now for hours and have tried all the suggested fixes I found in the forums with no improvement.
When I brought up this link it worked great for some time and then started dropping giving me the following log in a long loop
02:12:37 wireless, info 00:0C:42:61:2C:7E@wlan1: lost connection, not polled for too long
02:12:39 wireless,debug wlan1: must select network
02:12:39 wireless,debug 00:0C:42:61:2C:7E: on 5180 AP: yes SSID abc caps 0x431 rates 0xff00 basic 0x100 MT: yes
02:12:39 wireless,debug 00:0C:42:60:19:F3: on 5200 AP: yes SSID caps 0x431 rates 0xff00 basic 0x100 MT: yes
02:12:39 wireless, debug wlan1: no network that satisfies connect-list, by default choose with strongest signal
02:12:39 wireless,info 00:0C:42:61:2C:7E@wlan1 established connection on 5180, SSID abc
02:12:42 wireless, info 00:0C:42:61:2C:7E@wlan1: lost connection, not polled for too long
disabling n-stream makes the link stable once again, but this will defeat the object so I am wanting to find a proper solution.
I am running RouterOS 4.6 with an RB411 and RB 133c - both ends have the R52n minipci cards. Signal between two sites is good.
Any help appreciated
Thanks Chupaka, but already tried this tip posted by you in another topic - I tried a few values right up to max of 15 with no change. The thing that gets me is that this was nice and stable and fast for the first 20 minutes and then it just went pear shaped.
The only thing I can think of that changed is that I enabled another wds link from the 133c, I have since reversed this and not getting back to the glorious first moments of enabling this..
I really don’t understand if I am doing something completely wrong or not..
I am still getting “extensive data loss” / “not polled for too long” dropping me every 5 seconds or so on my one connection.
On the other where there is only 100m of open space separating 2 flat panels (which were rock solid with the old R52 cards) and this connection is also dropping due to “too many poll timeouts”
I have dropped the WDS in favour of changing it all to a routed setup which is probably for the best, but for some reason the 4.6 and R52n cards have taken a perfectly working environment and stuck it in the blender.
