i have a problem with my mikrotik cloud core 1036 how and i tried to reset it with the reset button and jumber how can i reset it’s OS plz help
Can you winbox into it?
As Sam tells you:
First set the PC to a fixed IP.
Open Winbox, and let it do the discovery.
If you can see the device, click on the MAC address.
Once you have control over it, you can set it up further.
If Winbox does not find anything, then you should use Netinstall. That is a nice but destructive way to reinstall the router.
I hope you have a backup of your router, since you will need to install everything from scratch (like it came out of the new box when you bought it).
before you do that, PC should have a fixed IP.
Disable ALL firewall / anti virus programs on your PC.
Then start Netinstall
Press the reset button for xxx seconds. (see manual of your router how and when to release it. It is different for each router).
