Problems Upgrading RB333

Hello.

I have an older rb333 board I found laying around and would like to upgrade to the current stable routeros version. I go downloaded the packages and put it in the files directory, reboot the system and the older version is still booting. It has version:

MikroTik RouterOS 3.28 (c) 1999-2009

[admin@MikroTik] > system routerboard print
routerboard: yes
model: “333”
serial-number: “”
current-firmware: “2.18”
upgrade-firmware: “2.18”

Is it possible to upgrade to ver 4.10 or 4.11?

Thanks in advanced for your time.

Got it. Read another post on how to do it…

  1. Upgrade to v. 3.30 first
  2. Update License Key
  3. Upgrade to v. 4.11

Thanks.

as always, the answer was in Log =)

Where can I download that firmware? I can’t find it at routerboard.com

you don’t need to upgrade anything, as I already replied to you in the other forum
