Problems with bridging Interfaces

Moin from Germany,

i have a Problem with Bridging my wireless Interfaces. You can see in my Network plan, that I use 2 5GHz Wireless Connection from my RB433AH to my 2 RB433. The RB433AH is the Gatway to the Internet and provides DHCP, DNS and Hotspot Service to the Clients. The RB433 are configured as DHCP Relay. In the moment the 2 wireless Interfaces at the Gateway (RB433AH) are bridged to Bridge1 and have the IP Address 10.255.254.250. The 5 GHz wlan Interfaces on the RB433s are configured with IP Addresses 10.255.254.251 and on the other RB433 10.255.254.252. The “Access Points” with 2,4 Ghz Wireless to the Clients are not bridged and have own ip adresses.

now i want to know if i need to bridge all interfaces at the rb433 to the 5ghz link? and give them 1 IP adress. With the configuration above, the Network is running, but sometimes i don´t get connection to internet and the DHCP Relay didn´t work correct.

Hi,

I think all of this is correct to have Internet in the laptops. If you have to put a server connected to the 433’s you may need some routes..
