Sorry for the noob questions, but…
I have a GrooveA 52HPn that am using in station mode to attach to one of a number of existing networks. Am using the supplied antenna out of the box. Have upgraded it to the latest O/S (6.28) but am seeing the following issues. If someone could point me in the right direction to fix this would be much appreciated

Say I tell the Groove to connect to NetworkA. I type in the WiFi password and it does connect. All good. Then I tell it to disconnect and connect to alternate NetworkB and again enter the password. Now, you would think that now the device knows passwords to both NetworkA and NetworkB one could switch between the two without having to re-enter, but I can’t get it to save these. Is that not possible or am I doing something wrong?

When I turn the device on it sometimes decides to connect to an open network automatically (there is a telco company with open hotspots in our area). I don’t ever want the device to connect to a network without me telling it first. How does one set that up?

One of the networks I’m connecting to has both 2G and 5G signals. I can connect to the 5G just fine but when trying to connect to 2G (just to test) the device constantly drops the connection almost immediately after connecting. It gets stuck in a connect, drop, connect, drop loop. When I look in the logs see a message about beacon not received. This is odd as there’s plenty of signal strength in both 2G and 5G signals.
