Questions about LAN setup

I am trying to build home LAN network as the one in the image.
I need info about the following:

  1. Is it possible to connect (1)wap ax with POE lan cable and use the 2nd LAN as an output to connect hap ac2 to it? Will the hap ac2 get internet over the LAN cable?
  2. Can I use the included POE adapter in the package of (2) wap ax and power it separately but get the LAN from the 1 Gbit switch?
  3. Is it possible to create CAPsMAN config on the ax3 to manage all WiFi access points from 1 place? In this config will I be able to see the wifi interfaces on the hap ac2?

  1. yes … just hAP ac2 can’t be powered from wAP ax (wAP ax doesn’t have PoE-out)
  2. yes … included PoE adapter is “PoE injector” which is plugged between switch and powered device. It is transparent for data passing between both sides.
  3. yes … if hAP ac2 will be running wifi-qcom-ac package (instead of wireless package). Beware that hAP ac2 has a small flash storage (nominally 16MB, in reality around 15.2MB) and it’s tight when installing wifi-qcom-ac package. Works fine if configuration is really simple (e.g. no firewall rules, no address lists, no nothing).
