I emailed in the following question earlier today, am waiting for a reply, and then I found the forum, so I decided to post the same question here:
**I am thinking about getting the RB2011UAS-2HnD-IN, but I have three questions:
\
How often do you put out firmware updates for it?
\
Are there any plans on bringing out an 802.11ac – which is backwards compatiable with 802.11a/b/g/n – version?
\
Why aren’t there any resellers of your products in Toronto, Canada, and are there any plans on getting places like Canada Computers, TigerDirect Canada, NCIX to carry your routers?**
RouterBOARD is a more professional grade device, selling it in grocery stores would end up in many confused people. When our software has an interface simple enough that anybody can configure it - we might as well do so. Quickset is a step in this direction.
I can understand that about TigerDirect, but people who shop at Canada Computers, NCIX, etc. know what they are doing when it comes to hardware and such!
I know it was over a year ago - but I wanted to point out XAGYL Communications - who is out of Ottawa was great when I bought my 3 RB2011UAS-2HnD-IN devices. They are an authorized distributor.
It was purchased online - just thought I’d pass it on in case someone was thinking about it.
