I have an ISP with this setup:
CCR 2116 Connect with 2 Upstream Providers with BGP (1*/24 Public Subnet) and doing NAT with almost 8 Gbps traffic on peak hours.
2 * CCR 1036 configured as BRAS and doing simple queue with almost 3500 PPPoE customers in total (1700-1800 per each of them).
Both BRAS connected to Cisco Nexus 3k Series then going to 3 OLT.
Configuration for CCR1036 is simple OSPF connected to CCR2116 and then have a radius server that doing authentication of PPPoE.
Simple queues created dynamically for each customer.
This setup was working well for almost 6 months then we faced a problem: when there is a power-off on some areas and ppp sessions are disconnected at same time simple queues are not destroyed but stays there (normally with red colour) and not allowing customers to connect again on system.
Have anyone faced this problem or what can be the solution.
I have tried queue tree some times but failed (maybe I haven’t done it correctly), if you have any manual you are most than welcome to offer it.
