Random reboot in CCR1072-1G-8S+

Hello,

We have 2 CCR1072-1G-8S+ for our PPPoE customers with vrrp enabled. All was working great but actually we have more or less 1.2k customers with active PPPE connection and randomly our primary router reboots without error messages or kernel failres.

The accounting and authentication is done buy Radius Manager shared between the routers connected directly without a switch in the middle.

We tried to shutdown the first router and leave the secondary as the master for a week but did the same.
The version we are using is the last (6.39.1) but 6.39 do the same.

Anyone with the same problem or know what’s happening?

I can export configuration if anyone needs it,

I think you’d better check if an auto supout has been generated automatically and send it to support.

The router does not created nothing, if I generate it manually is still valid?

Do you use monitor mem and cpu usage? If you can see any trend in men usage you might be able to predict a failure and generate a supout file right before a failure.
If not then email support with config etc ans see if they could help.

Yes, I monitor t’he CPU and t’he memory, never reaches 4g of 16g and the max CPU is in 28% in 1min average.

I support there is some bug in old version, include bugfix 6.40.8, I have a x86 server running routeros , random lock up in a short time, I try "replace server , switch some bugfix version ", the problem still exist, until upgrade to the stable version 6.42.5, now it been working for 33 days.
