Hello all,
I am setting up a new RB1100AHx4 to replace the old RB2011.
In this same process, we are adding three PPPoE-Clients and perform a PCC between the four connections (3 PPPoE + 1 static WAN IP).
I have the Static IP on Ether1 while the three PPPoE clients running on interfaces Ether11-12-13.
I have a bridge running on several interfaces and some VLANs.
The issue I am facing at the moment is that any new rule for routing mark that I am using in the router is not working and the client mentioned in the Source address loses internet connection.
I have a similar setup running on a CCR1036 and on another RB4011 without any issues.
What might be going wrong on this one?
Thats funny. both the RB1011 and RB2011 are OLD as the hills.
Please confirm that all 4 are involved in PCC.
Please confirm that all LAN interfaces, bridge and vlans are included in the PCC
Please confirm that you dont have any external users coming in.
Please confirm that you dont have VPN going in or going out.
Please confirm that you dont have any special cases, this user or this subnet needs to go out a specific WAn only
etc.
etc
etc.
I think you get the picture, without seeing a network diagram and more importantly understanding all the requirements that users have, separate from the config speak, AND without seeing the config itself, we are simply trying to pee up a rope.
There are some that are capable of mind reading but I aint one of them and my crystal ball is in the shop for repairs, and my tarot cards were eaten by the dog, the genie left the lamp years ago and Im all out of horseshoes.
Why have bridge + vlans. if going vlans recommend bridge do no DHCP and simply add another vlan to replace the bridge subnet.
Thank you for your reply!
Well, I tried the 4 WANs on PCC, internet stops working.
The issue is that I tried the PCC without doing any bridge (just one interface for LAN) and it worked fine, whenever I create the bridge, things stop working.
I have some special cases that certain users will need to use specific gateways.
But as I said before, the same scenario is working perfectly fine with the RB4011 and the CCR1036, but it does not work with the RB2011 and RB1100AHx4.
I have the VLAN inside the bridge because I have a physical interface between two Mikrotiks that have different VLANs inside the same physical interface.
I will redo things later today and I will post the configuration here.
