RB1200 + Router keeps rebooting in loop (on power up one beep then it continues in loop)

Hi i recently upgraded my routeros to 5.26 and it gave me problems.

Router keeps rebooting in loop (on power up one beep then it continues in loop). the beep is a squeak then the beep and it never goes to the two beeps.

Please help I am lost.

Regards

At first try load backup bootloader:
https://wiki.mikrotik.com/wiki/Manual:RouterBOOT#Main_and_Backup_loaders
Or use Netinstall:
https://wiki.mikrotik.com/wiki/Manual:Netinstall

I have tried the above solutions already. For some even when i do the reset with the reset buttons, and reset pin the router still reboots in loop. the green/yellow light doesnt blink or flicker at all. It just continues to beep then after 5 seconds it beeps again with the light and so forth.

Console with serial cable is blank and nothing comes up in terminal window.

I suspect it may be a hardware problem but i want to be sure first.

I am having same problem as you right now on a rb1100 x2 ah

Me too! My Groove A-52HPn is doing the same! Please help

So far everytime I had non-booting routerboard, it was caused by bad capacitors on board or some serious external damage (lighting/overvoltage from antenna). So first thing to check would be the capacitors on board, if any are bulging or doesn’t look good, replace them (maybe better replace all electrolytic ones to be safe). Next step would be to check all voltages.
