Hello,
I had a consultant double check the setup for our core router which routes our /29 (Upstream ISP) to our /27 (our public customer IP’s). However in the last few days since this router was installed, it seems to stop flowing traffic between the two subnets. Then randomly it begins to flow traffic again (sometimes 2-3 hours later)
This device is only doing the routing with these 2 subnets, not vpn, not firewalling, simple config.
Has anyone else had this issue. I am using RouterOS 6.29.1 and we flow a max of 25Mbps through the device
The same/similar problem with RB3011UiAS-RM.
I’m not a big expert in network configs so I use ‘Quick Set’ option.
We have an Fiber SFP PPPoE WAN and Radio WAN on ETH1 … and from time to time it looks just like if routing is stopping by itself when we work on SFP WAN.
When it happens I can connect to the switch from LAN network via WWW or Winbox. I can ping the world from the switch terminal, but I cannot connect to the internet from LAN computers.
Usually clicking ‘reconnect’ in PPPoE settings helps and everything is back to normal, but only for day or two when I have to repeat the whole process.
From time to time it doesn’t help - so I have to change the Internet Wan port to ETH1 … and later I’m switching it back to SFP (I usually switch it back after my company’s business hours).
