RB4011iGS+RM system hang?!

Hi there,

I have installed a brandnew RB4011iGS+RM with RouterOS 6.45.5, and after 1 day of operation it got a system hang.
There are several LANs configured using 2 WANs and during system hang nobody didnt get connection to anywhere. I then connected a laptop directly to the router, but the the router was not accessible - even with the “Neighbours”-function of winbox the router wasnt found (as if routerboard was switched off, but it wasnt).

After restart it worked again for 1 or 2 weeks now, and today there was the next system hang. My problem is I cannot connect to routerboard at that moment so I cannot see the log files.
After reboot old logs are gone.

Is it maybe a hardware defect or could it be any kind of misconfiguration?

Were the ethernet leds on when you couldnt access your router?
It can be a wrong configuration or not…
I would netintall to the latest version and see how it goes…

Hi I have a 4011 doing the exact same thing. It hangs and no ethernet LED are on only the power light. Physical reboot is required to get it working again. Watchdog doesnt work. It also doesnt save a supout file. I have added a remote system log and nothing appears there either. Last known voltage was still good. so it wasnt under powered. ANY help would be great

It might help if you specify what ROS version your device is using ?
Have you checked power supply or even replaced it to rule out that option ?

Just for info: how old is that device ?

Tech will be doing a reboot in about an hour and Ill send through all relevent info once I have access to the device again. In the meantime yeah, we have swapped out the power supply.
