I have some questions about a big project that we have.
There are several access points (Proxim and Mikrotik) installed on high light poles in a big area. All the installation worked fine with Proxim and we want to replace everything with Mikrotik.
Also there are several moving vehicles with industrial PC’s and now we want to put Mikrotik RB411 as clients. Everything is on the same subnet.
We have tried station pseudobridge as mode for the client Mikrotik and it connects to the wireless network, but when the vehicle moves it does not connect to another access point (with the same SSID) and even when sometimes it connects there is no traffic (ping packets don’t pass through).
The wireless network is currently without security and uses only mac authentication. All the access point knoow the mac addresses of the clients.
What is the correct mode to use for the client Mikrotik and what else should we configure?
Also, how can we configure roaming in the Mikrotik access points in order to release a client when the SNR is low so that another access point serves the client?
