I am test driving my new RB433. Upgraded to V3.9, and so far ok. The only thing that caused a few tense moments was setting up the NTP client. The default mode is now broadcast instead of unicast. Docs still show unicast as the default mode.
Documentation for 2.9 and 3.0 is about NTP client, that is provided with NTP package.
V3 RouterOS provides support for SimpleNTP, that is included in system package.
I do not see any problems to change mode=unicast and make it work on the same way.
Documentation will be corrected, when SimpleNTP will be described.
The NTP was not a big thing at all. A mode=unicast change and all is good. It was not part of my “checklist”, so I missed the difference. It is now in the checklist.
Everything else is A-OK. Still running sweet after 4 days.
