RB435G x 2 out of box (Not Booting)

Hi,

I have just had major damage to my systems and needed to use my two RB435 that are spare to get my network running again.


Problem is both boards out of box don’t boot.

This is as far as they go connected to serial cable.

RouterBOOT booter 3.10

RouterBoard 435G

CPU frequency: 680 MHz
  Memory size: 256 MiB
    NAND size: 128 MiB

Thats as far as they go, the ones boot loader says 2.38 though.

Contacted supplier support they said something about a serial recovery being on the mikrotik wiki, but I can’t find something like that, and I can’t even do a netinstall as it’s not bringing up the boot options.

In need of urgent assistance to try and get these boards working, as sending them back will be at least two weeks of downtime.

If anyone has ideas please HELP!

BOOTED! YAY!

Problem was power supply was using a 12v 2A PSU, but the 435 doesn’t seem to like it.

Booted with POE 24v 1A and it booted fine.

Seriously was about to pull my hair out.
