I’ve got about a dozen 450G’s that have been locking up randomly ever since updating past 6.17. I would say once every 2 weeks one of them somewhere locks up and needs to be power cycled to recover. It’s only the ones being used as routers, I have dozens and dozens of these as switches that do not behave this way. We are currently up to the latest firmware and still having issues. 2 routers today are being power cycled. A few have been replaced with 3011’s which seems to fix the problem, but is anyone else seeing this? If I set these routers to reboot themselves every few days could that help? We’re paying a lot of OT to reset these things, and some of them are 6 hour drives round trip.
Take one of the failing ones, and:
- netinstall it to latest Bugfix
- Make sure System Routerboard > Upgrade Firmware version is the same as current version (firmware is up to date)
- Reset to no defaults
- reconfig it.
Does it keep requiring reboots?
