RB5009 right choice?

Use case - home use with gaming PCs and some work from home.
FTTP Internet (PPPoE VLAN) 900Mbps symmetric with 2.5gE ONT, upgrading to 2.5gE symmetric in near future.
WiFi 3 x Zyxel WSM20 AX1800 OpenWrt dumb APs with fast roaming & ethernet backhaul. Separate WiFi Mesh for IoT & guests.
50 devices, including 3 gaming PCs, Dell 3050m Win10Pro media server on 2.5gE.
2.5gE devices connected to unmanaged switch - Horaco 8 x 2.5Gbe plus 1 x 10Gb SFP+

Proposed connections
2.5gE ONT > 2.5gE “WAN” RB5009 SFP+ > 10Gbps Direct Attach Cable > SFP+ Horaco 2.5gE Swtich > 2,5gE devices & 1gE media clients.
RB5009 1gE > APs & MESH IoT/Guests (possibly VLAN), Smart home hubs.

Requirements
Fast throughput WAN <> LAN at 2.5Gbps , stability & hardware reliability.

I was considering the G.iNET Flint 2, but don’t need the wireless and the R5009 looks like a better option being a more mature product.

Apart from onboard wireless and CPU max clock are the RB5009 and Flint 2 comparable?

So is the RB5009UG+S+IN the right choice for me?

My opinion is yes, you should be able to maximize your 2.5 gig throughput as its rated to approx 3gig with 25 IP filter rules.
It is a new ARM64 product so the support should be good for many years.
