RB532 Fried

Good Evening All,

I have a RB532 that seems to be dead from yesterday night. I upgrade to 3.30 and all was OK. I updated the licence and in this reboot the box didn’t bootup anymore.

I have connected via console and this is the message

RouterBOOT booter 2.9

RouterBoard 532A

CPU frequency: 399 MHz
  Memory size: 64 MB

Press any key within 2 seconds to enter setup..
loading kernel from nand... OK
setting up elf image... OK
jumping to kernel code
Kernel panic - not syncing: No init found. Try passing init= option to kernel.

I press the key but it seems to be hung during 1 minute or so and after this I got this Kernel Panic. Of course can’t make a net install becouse I get this error when a key is pressed.

It is possible to reload a boot in the box?

Greetings

Hi, after power on press any key,go to BIOS then change boot device to ethernet and try reinstall router OS. May choice is 2.9.51

Hi all,

It is not possible, the unit does not respond when I press any key, so I can’t go to bios menu.

Greetings

Hi all,

I’ve got a RB532 here which simply doesn’t output anything on the serial port. Tried booting with button S1 pressed (to boot from backup BIOS) and still nothing. The blue & orange LED’s just stay lit. Board doesn’t beep or respond on any of the ports.
Any help or links to documents or troubleshooting tutorials would be appreciated. Thanks.
