I am ISP and I am trying to put on production a RB532 to handle a 10 MB connection can it?
Yes, RB500 can handle even more. Total troughput is simple routing mode ~150-200Mbps.
Yep - depending on all the services you want the RB532 to handle. Routing and wireless w/encyrption the RB can typically handle about 25Mbps.
The fancier you get - meaning the more services you want the RB 532 to handle, the slower it can get. It’s all about CPU processing power. The more the cpu has to do the lower the throughput.
sergejs is right - I was thinking about wireless speeds… Direct connect as a router only (not wireless router) the RB can handle tremendous speeds. I have one in a production setup right now… It runs with a few simple firewalling rules, multiple wans, multiple lans, a bunch of clients, and easily handles 100Mbps plus.
