RB751G-2HnD as hotspot

Hello,

I’m using a RB751G-2HnD as hotspot in a bar. I’m using one hotspot user for everyone.

The only thing i’m running into is that they have to login afther a very short time. I would be nice to be authenticated for a few hours.

I’ve played around with idle time-out and keep alive time, but nothing seems to work.

Any idea to accomplish thuis?

Unfortunately, Mikrotik is crippled in a way that you cannot make this work using just Mikrotik and usable for someone who is ignorant for Mikrotik, networking nad technical stuff in general, someone like waitress. You have to use external Radius server and produce custom application to handle users.
