RBSXTR&R11e-LTE6 Wireless configuration

Hi everybody !!
I’m new user of this forum.

I’ve just RBSXTR&R11e-LTE6.
I want to set up wireless on it, according to “First Time Configuration” manual - https://help.mikrotik.com/docs/display/ROS/First+Time+Configuration.
At the point related to wireless config, I should enable interface wlan1.
But, when I try to enable it:
/interface wireless
enable wlan1;

  • i receive error: “no such item”.
And, in fact, there is no such interface - I can not see it in WebFig. I tried to add interface wlan1, using WebFig, but there is nothing to choose in the “Master Interface” option (the list is empty) and applying such config (with "Master Interface option empty) gives error “Invalid value in Master Interface”.
Could anybody help me - maybe I should create the “Master Interface” first, but do not have any idea how.

Thanks for any help in advance.

This is general howto.
Your RouterBoard have NOT any wifi interfaces what you can check before buy at specification:

Thanks a lot SiB.
I specially asked the seller before I bought this device, if it supports WiFi (Because on the seller web page it was stated it is).
The seller made me sure, it supports wireless. So I thought there are different types of this device - with and without wireless.
Thanks.

Hi there,

Sorry to jump on the back of this thread. I am using a MAC so I remote in through a web-browers to my 52AC. In quick set up I have put it in bridge mode as I only want to extend my wifi.

I have my 52AC connected via ethernet to my router. When I follow the steps from this youtube video keep getting (Invalid value in master) in the wifi tab.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bHotZT41w3E

Within (New Interface) the master will not allow me to drop down a option from the tab?

I have 7.19.3 (stable) installed Factory Software 6.46.8

The SXT device only recieves LTE signals and transfers data received to either an extenal access point (because the SXT is a router) or a router with an access point inbuilt. It does not have an access point within itself, so can not broadcast WiFi of itself.

Hope that helps.
