RC10 x86 Reboot command has no effect

When I ask the system to reboot, nothing happens.

I had a vague recollection of needing an addon package for this but see none listed in the downloads section that I do not already have.

does this not work? router> /system reboot?

if that is a 3rd party SBC device, you will need the routerboard package, which includes all kinds of workarounds for devices that don’t support the standards.

It is a full blown PC.

sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn’t. It is high end hardware too. 100% Intel.

intel has a LOT of troubles with linux based systems lately. they keep reinventing the wheel and we have to find workarounds all the time. what is the chipset?

please type “/system reboot” and make a supout.rif file as soon as it is possible after that.
